  • Course Code: CONFSP
  • Description: This course is designed for participants who enter, may be required to enter, or supervise a confined space where there is limited or restricted methods of entry and exit. This course provides a basic understanding of how to identify a confined space, the hazards within, and the necessary controls and equipment. Participants will learn how to develop confined space entry procedures, permits, hazard assessments, and emergency response plans. This course meets the regulatory requirements for workers and supervisors who work in confined space environments.

Cross Connection Control Recertification

  • Description: AWWA Cross Connection Control Testers must be recertified every five years. This course provides the opportunity to update cross connection control knowledge and skills and then to write the required examination for re-certification. This course is intended for members with certifications that are expiring.

Cross Connection Control Testers

  • Course Code: CCCONT
  • Description: In this training, students review terminology and standards, assess hazards, select appropriate backflow prevention devices and practice installing, repairing, maintaining and testing these devices in accordance with standards. This training includes the preparation and testing for students to earn their certification.

This course meets regulatory requirements for fall protection training in Nova Scotia.
